#347
Sunday, feb. 8/15 12;13 a.m., at
home (bedside journal)
You have Me calling you to write.
My Words call each one of you to come aside
and abide in My Words. Which of you
will?
It is strange isn’t it that I call and call
and yet not many respond.
Do you think they do not want to know
Me? Or what I ask them to do may be way
beyond their wildest dreams?
If I ask you to hold your tongue and you
do, then you are abiding in My Word.
If I ask you to go the extra mile without
complaint, you are living My Words to you.
The extra mile could be finishing up tidying the kitchen, picking up
laundry off the floor, dropping in to visit someone on the spur of the moment.
It could even be begging Me to fill you
with the Grace to Love unconditionally.
Listen to My Voice. Rejoice in the Words I whisper to your heart.
Everything you do endeavor to do it for
Love of Me. Now, you can’t do it for
Love of Me while being cross with the person whom you feel should have dried
the dishes in the first place.
Catch yourself. Be very, very aware that we will put on the
martyr role, i.e. saying you do such and such for Love of Me while you are
seething under your collar because it was so and so’s turn to do it.
Really, you can’t Love Me if you do not
love others so please don’t even waste your breath saying you are doing a task
for love of Me while you are angry with the other who has ignored doing the
task.
We lie to ourselves when we play this game.
You cannot love Me and hate the other. Maybe hate is a harsh word. Perhaps I should say you can’t love Me and
not love the other.
How many of us have been walking this tight
rope of faith? Hoping that God sees that
we love Him and telling yourself that you can love God, but not the other
person who is bugging you.
You are not living as I have called you to
do.
Did you miss the 2nd part of My
Commandment?
And oh please don’t tell Me you love the
other. Your voice, your chatter, your anger over the situation gives
you away.
Yes, tell Me that you love Me and in this
same breath beg Me to give you the Grace to love all others as I, God, do.
At least you are being honest with this
prayer.
I want you to stop your gossip, stop
reviewing and reviewing your ‘past hurts’, stop pretending that certain things
don’t bother you when really they do.
If you are running down someone’s behavior
are you building them up? NO.
How can you build them up rather than
running them down?
Ask Me to still your tongue. Ask Me to Grace you with the courage to
change your derogatory ways.
Please Note: I do not come to change the other. I want your heart changed. I want you to see what needs work and it is
not the other person!
Only a humble heart asks Me to heal them.
If you are not humble and contrite, you are
always trying to change the other.
If someone comes to mind and you feel you
want to say something to Me about them, I challenge you first and foremost to
praise and thank Me for their precious soul.
Then take your precious soul and their
precious soul into My Most Sacred Heart and let Me tend to and heal what is not
right, but as I see the right.
Every time we are running someone down we
are not speaking from a humble contrite heart.
Do not waste your precious time I have
given you pointing out their faults.
Immediately ask Me to reveal more and more
to you what your heart needs to hear so you can grow closer and closer to Me.
I want your heart, yet if it is not humble
and contrite it is not ready to be handed over to Me. You still want ownership and control. You still want to judge.
Now shut your eyes to sleep and leave your
heart open so I can work on it during your rest time. I will not make a noise but will endeavor to
fix the parts that are still broken.
I Love you.
“Jesus Loves me”, say it again “Jesus Loves me.”
