start again, and again

#428   Sept. 25/15,  10:45AM, St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament

Rejoice My People.  I Love you!

Do not ever hesitate for a moment to say to yourself in joyful affirmation “Jesus Loves me.”

Now that your day has started, let’s just review what has gone on in your life today and what you have given to Me.

There are to be no apologies for what you forgot to give to Me, only great thanks to Me for even just the one thing you gave to Me today. 

Perhaps you gave Me yourself at the start of the day.

Perhaps you gave Me thanks for the cool sunshine.

Perhaps you gave Me thanks by saying “God Bless” to those you met.

Perhaps you saw Me in others and thus gave Me due recognition.

If you have yet to give Me or to bring Me into a situation take the time to do so right now.

Bring Me spiritually through the ‘soul and soul prayer’ to someone you know who is sick.

Bring Me into the room when you are writing a test later on today.  Put Me there right now and I will be waiting till you arrive for the test.

Put Me over a happy or sad situation you may have already encountered today.

You see when you live in the despair of “oh Lord, I have not put you anywhere yet today”, you lose hope of even remembering to do so and do not then take the initiative to start again.

I give you so many chances to start again and again and again. 

‘Starting again’ is not something you say in frustration but rather something you say in joyful affirmation that I the Lord am offering you a choice to start again.

It is so important to see the difference.

We can either hang our heads in shame and self-blame and say “O Lord I have to start again.”

OR

You can say “Thank you Lord for the grace-filled opportunity to start again.”

It is not that you have to start again – but that you joyfully and thankfully are willing to start again.

What a gift --- The Gift of starting over.

Do not, never, look at it as time wasted but rather look at it as an opportunity to serve Me joyfully now.

Can you see how despair creeps in?  And it only comes from the evil one.

“What’s the use” we say.  “I’ll never remember or I will never get it right”.

Whatever the ‘it’ is.

But if you do something, on My Nudging, then it is done.  I do not look at past or future.  I want a relationship with you in the here and now.

Plan each day to surrender yourself to Me.  Tell Me you surrender yourself to Me, and  even if it only lasts for an hour, think of all the Graces you will accumulate.

Make your surrender prayer to Me often, not because you forgot to surrender this or that, but that you want to strengthen the walls of your soul again and again.

Each time you say it you are more in My Sacred Heart than you are in despair.

Do not let this spiritual exercise discourage you, that is, you may think it is not worthwhile because you may have to say it more than once.  Thank God that He has chosen that you can say it more than once and that He is there each time to receive your struggling heart.

So are you discontent because your heart is struggling?  And whose heart is not struggling?

Of course your heart will struggle daily sometimes more than other days because of the broken mankind, but that should not stop you from coming to Me with a surrendering heart.

Just because you struggle does not mean that I am withholding My Graces. NO, NO. 

My Graces help you to face the struggles with a joyful attitude.  My Graces help you to bring your struggles to the Cross and bind them to the Cross for the salvation of souls.

You can thank ME for your struggles.  This lifts them to a higher spiritual plain rather than leaving them to get dragged through the mud of you struggling to solve this on our own.

Invite Me in, often, to help you with your struggles – the line to Me is never too busy, or crashed, or unhooked.  You may have to ask Me to open your heart so we can suitably plug Me into you --- but again that is easy to do.

Just say “Lord, please open my heart to Your Helpful Graces.”

That’s the key.  That is all I need to hear to move in and work on cleaning up the struggles in your heart. 

Some we may quickly solve, others may take time BUT KNOW THIS you will be doing it, working on these struggles in My Presence with My Help.

You see the difference! 

Before you were struggling all on your own with your limited resources.

NOW

you may still have a struggle with a particular problem, but now you are relying on My Endless Resources and furthermore you and I are growing ever closer in our relationship which you may have felt formerly was one of your biggest struggles, but is no longer.

Cry Alleluia --- Jesus and I are friends, buddies, working together on my salvation. 

What a great, great gift we both give each other today --- our loving relationship.

Go in Peace, Sin no more.  Bring ALL to Me.
