Let My People be free. Let them hear the Good News. Do not hide My Words for them.
We become fearful sometimes because we
don’t think we should do this or that.
It is not right that we hide the Good News
--- Jesus Loves you, Jesus Loves me.
There is nothing more refreshing or
uplifting than these Words. So say them
often to yourself and to others.
We need to share the Good News otherwise
what are we saving it for?
Do not hesitate to let others know how much
I Love them.
Teach them the Words “Jesus Loves me.”
So many of us are afraid to apply that Word
to ourselves.
We do not think we deserve it, or we think
others will think we are fools for passing it on.
Like “what right, Lord, do I have to jump
into their lives with this phrase?”
But do you see it is not about rights bur
more about fear. We do not want to look
foolish in the eyes of others. That is
what it comes down to, doesn’t it?
Are you willing to be My Disciple or will
you choose to follow another one?
To follow Me you must step out of the
shadows and into the Light.
Yes, they will know you are Christian by
your love, but they may never have heard or dared to say it to themselves
“Jesus Loves me”. It seems too
personal. It is easier for us to tell
them “Jesus Loves you” than it is to ask them to say “Jesus Loves me”.
In one instance, we are, we are proclaiming
the Good News to them, in the other we are asking them to proclaim the Good
News to themselves.
When we say to them “Jesus Loves you” they
will accept it from you especially if they think you are a spiritual
person. On the other hand they may
hesitate to say to themselves “Jesus Loves me”, because they feel they are not
worthy.
It is easier for us to say “Jesus Loves
you” because it seems like a generous gift of assurance we are passing on to
them.
Yet the more generous gift is to have them
say it to themselves “Jesus Loves me”.
Do you see the difference? We, each one of us, has to be, first of all,
a disciple to themselves! Yes, unless we
can say to ourselves “Jesus Loves me”, then how will we ever be bold enough to
tell others to proclaim the same Good News to themselves.
From there true discipleship blooms.
To say it with conviction, to say it with
faith, to say it with hope, to say it with Love. “Jesus Loves me.”
And in heavens name DO NOT follow it up
with “even though I am a sinner” because then you have inserted you into the
messenger and not been bold enough to let Jesus Words stand on their own. His Words are fuller in just those 3 Words. Do not detract from His Message by trying to
show the World how unworthy you are.
This is not humility. Humility shows its fullness when we let
Jesus’ Words stand on their own.
Jesus Loves me, Jesus Loves me, Jesus Loves
me.
Let that be your discipleship message to
yourself first and then out into the World.
Jesus Loves me.
