Come Holy Spirit enkindle in me the Fire of Your Love.

Isn’t that what we mean when we tell Me “Help me to Love more today Lord.”

Don’t you just love that this Love within you is on Fire --- or should I say, it should be on Fire.

If you ask Me to help you Love more today, are you prepared to Love intensely because that is what Fire is --- it intensely burns off all else till it gets to what the matter really is.

So let Me into your heart to burn off anything that stands between you and Me.  And it is usually pride, ego, feeling put out and sorry for yourself.  You can name a few more I am sure.

So first, before asking Me to fill you with Love, ask Me to remove all the junk in your heart that will stop the True Fire of Love from burning brightly. 

Usually when we think of fire we see it as destructive, but in this case My Fire of Love burns through all that is not needed leaving a clean environment in which True Love on Fire for Me can grow.

I ask you Lord to set my heart on Fire to serve you. 

Otherwise, all I am doing is serving my whims and wants and not truly being dedicated in full service to You.

Let Your Fire of Love snuff out instantly any of me that will stop Your Fire of Love from growing in me.  Let me see it for what it is Lord – junk --- that does not serve you one iota.

Let me not be discouraged Lord when I see my whims and wants wandering into my heart once again.  But rather help me to be ever grateful that you point these out to me and give me the Grace to beg for Your fire of Love to live and have its BEING in me.

Lord, plant Your Love in Me today.  I give you permission, so that I may Love more today than yesterday.

Help me Lord, for I am weak when I just rely on my own efforts, yet can do all in Your Name, when I rely totally on You and Your Love for me. 

Precious Lord, watch over my heart.
