What misery looks like

#590   Thurs. Oct. 13/16, 4pm, St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament

Swarm around Me, My People.  Gather around to hear My Good News of Love and Support.  Do not hold back, but come very near so you can hear the greatest Message ever told.

I want your hearts strengthened by My Special Love.  The Love that saves, The Love that rejuvenates, The Love that reaches into all hearts asking for a place to abide.

Hush any arguments to the contrary.  Do not let your ears lead your soul away from The Truth.

I have come to make My Home in each soul.  Now, for sure, some may not welcome Me or want Me, but I want you to know I am most willing to abide in your precious soul.

I will not avoid trying to enter, even though you may be trying to keep Me out.  I want to live in you, so you can live to your fullest potential.

If I am not living in your soul, who or what is? 

Are you feeling disappointed right now?  Then I am not living there.

Are you feeling lost and hopeless right now?  Then I am not there.

Are you feeling anything else but Love right now?  Then I am not there. 

Does your long face display to the world how your soul is feeling right now?

What have you grasped hold of that is blocking My Love from entering?

Are you content to hold fast to this ‘thing’, ‘feeling’ even though it blocks Me from entering and healing?

Why do we seem content with misery?  How has it gained ground in your soul thus shoving out Love? 

This is a heavy burden, right?

So often we say we are burdened down by the day’s trials.  And if that is so, then why not bring your burdens to Me?

I have asked you to.

I have told you to.

So what keeps you from bringing your burdens to Me?

So what I am really asking you to do is to get out of your own way and into My Way. 

We think we should entertain misery because we feel like being miserable!

So you see that you are more “about you” and your feelings than you are “about God” and His Loving Healing Ways.

Tell misery to scatter to the 4 winds and then invite Me to come in and settle your precious soul, settle in your precious soul. 

Misery is never about Me.  It is all about you.  Sure you may pray to be out of misery but are your consciously willing to choose to put misery into My Loving Hands, or do you just want to come and tell Me all the misery you have ever experienced, but yet, not choose to hand it over to Me and thus have it move out of your being thus allowing Me to move in. 

How many of you have chosen to live in misery? 

How many of you enjoy holding onto misery even when it makes you more miserable?

And do not tell Me there is no other way that you can live.

That is not The Truth.  But perhaps you don’t want Me to call you a liar?  So you will explain to Me that you do not know any other way to live and I will gently explain to you that I offer The Other Way.

Do you know who misery is?

I do.

Ask Me to tell you who misery is.

It is the opposite of selfless Love.

It is the one who wants you to be more wrapped up in you than wrapped up in My Loving Arms.

Look at the face of misery.

There is no tenderness or love in this face.

It is all beaten and bruised and hissing evil comments to itself and to the world.  

It is never satisfied, and yet can never be satisfied.

It wanders around seeking to satisfy its need, yet never can.

It needs Love, and yet rejected Love.

So when you fall into misery, be most aware it will never offer you Love or Care. 

It will never be kind to you or caress you. 

It will tell you how awful you must be feeling.

It will tell you you are not loved and you are not loveable.

I, God, have never told you this.  So when you hear these negative miserable thoughts, know right now they do not come from Me.

So, come to Me and hear the most endearing Words you will ever hear --- “I Love you unconditionally, right now, forever, for all time, always.”

Come and abide in Me and please allow Me to abide in you.
