(Doing the dishes with Me)
Come My Precious people. Come to adore, come to be with Me as I adore
those the Father has Created.
I want our prayers united. What, you say, I do not pray. Do you not remember the times I went off
alone and prayed? I prayed from the
Cross.
I want you to learn the art of prayer.
The act of praying. The act of turning it ALL over to God. Why do you think I prayed while on
earth? It was in an effort to strengthen
My Relationship with the Father.
It really was Me taking time out from the
World to be and chat with My Father.
That is what prayer is --- having a conversation with God.
When you hear the word prayer, you
automatically connect it with God. You do
not say let’s pray and then take someone to get their winter tires on. If that is your intent, then you would say “Come
let’s get your winter tires on.”
Yet, when I invite someone to pray with Me,
I mean let’s talk it over with God.
Let’s make a meal together. Well you buy
the food, bring it home and prepare it.
So, Let’s pray together means coming aside
with Me and practicing talking it over with God.
And it takes practice. And the more you practice the more you will
find great joy and consolation in doing it.
Perhaps you are just a beginner. Heh, you started out as a baby and gradually
learnt things. So do not be ashamed to
be in the infant stages of learning to pray.
Some of us may think we are 'teens' or 'adults'
when it comes to praying, yet each of us is constantly learning a deeper and
deeper prayer life with God.
You can combine chores and prayer you
know. When you do the dishes, lift it to
a higher task, lift it up to Me in grateful prayer, that you have dishes and
food and water and soap and dish towels and places to put things.
So you see, by doing it like this, you have
come aside from the routine of just doing dishes, to a far deeper task, doing
the dishes with Me.
Or, put another way, praying with Me while
you do the dishes.
Sure, you can come aside and be with Me and
concentrate on just that. But this is a
method by which you get to practice your prayer life more and more --- to pray
while you are doing other tasks. It
brings the task into a whole new light.
The prayer doesn’t even have to be long. Just say “Jesus” at every breath or second
breath. Make Me more present in you in
every task you undertake.
Now, I will NOT tolerate you beating
yourself up if you forget to say this short prayer as you work. That is so FALSE. Come to Me and ask for the Grace to pray
while you work! How simple is that, eh?
Now, come to Me and thank Me for this new,
holy day and ask for the Grace to have the Name of Jesus always on your lips.
