#1102 Mon. Feb. 17/20, 11:05am, St. Theresa’s before the Blessed Sacrament
Pour down Your Graces, Lord.
I am, I am. Do you not think that My Graces are constantly being poured forth?
You do not have to command Me. But you must expect, receive and give thanks for all the Graces.
Perhaps the prayer can be “Thank You Lord for all the Graces you pour over me.”
Now that is a trusting, loving, expecting, anticipating prayer.
Whereas “Pour down Your Graces Lord” seems to put you in charge of My Graces and how and when they get poured down.
Remember, you are not in charge!
So pray prayers of trust and love and understanding and acceptance.
I long for you to understand the process --- it goes from Creator to created. Not the other way around.
Saying thanks affirms your trust in your Creator --- that I will not forget or ignore you.
So the prayer always is “thank You Lord for pouring down Your Graces.”
You see, that is why sometimes we get frustrated and upset because we TELL the Creator what to do instead of readily receiving ALL He is doing, has done, will do.
It really is a whole new way of thinking,
