offering Jesus a safe sanctuary

#1172   Sat. Jun. 21/29     3:10pm        home

Do not put Me down.  And if you do, hastily pick Me up.

Dust Me off.  Offer your compassion and caring.  Yes to Me. Yes to show Me you really care.

Have you heard Me being put down by others?  Then pick Me up, tell Me I am your Center and no one and nothing will, can take that away from you.

Sometimes when we hear someone put Jesus down we want to retaliate.  But, I tell you, run to Me, give Me your heart in which I can find solace and companionship.

You do not have to defend Me as much as give me a heart in which I can safely abide.

Sometimes, our words, in defense of Me, may not change the other’s mind.

So take the upper road --- do not remain dragged down to where that person has taken Me.

Bring Me safely into your most precious soul that will offer Me comfort and love.

While you are standing there defending Me, where do I go?

I know that sounds foolish to you but listen to this.  The person puts Me down.  You rush to defend Me.  Right?

But first and foremost offer Me shelter in your precious soul.

I have not asked you to defend Me to show you are right.
I have asked you to prepare Me a place of sanctuary in your soul.

Even if you want to say it out loud… “I am offering Jesus a safe sanctuary in my soul.”

What better defense of Me could anyone ask?

You must not get caught in the argument back and forth.
You must stay centered on your Center and offer Me a safe haven.

Do you see what I mean?

Your defense of Me is all the stronger when your first reaction is not anger, disgust, impatience.

Rather pick Me up --- smile at Me, tell Me you love Me, and give me a gentle place to reside.

Thus no one can really put Me down if I have believers who will instantly, not go to their human reactions of anger, but will offer Me a loving safe place.

I hope I am making Myself clear.

I want to reside in your soul safe from all harm, knowing that if someone puts Me down, you will not.

Your offer of a loving soul is not temporary, but permanent.

And with that wisdom you will properly react when I am put down by another.

You will replace Love instead of the put down.

What a great source of Grace.  What an answer to your question…”What do I do or say if someone is running Jesus down?”
