Do not stop praying. Your prayers are never wasted.
It keeps you in touch with God. It is your way of conversing with Him.
Do we dare ask “why should I pray Lord?”
May I ask “and why would you not pray?”
So, have you found something that attracts you, distracts you, that you no longer have time to pray?
When does that habit fall off your routine, your daily life duties?
You do not see praying as a duty? Well, is it a habit? Should it be a habit?
Will a duty or habit keep you praying?
We do seem to forget why we pray and who has asked us to pray.
Has not the Lord asked us to pray?
Then how do we turn away from that request and do something else?
How important is prayer in your life? Do you feel it helps you sustain our relationship or do you quickly skip to it when things get desperate?
Why do you not want to talk to Me through prayer?
Would you prefer to do something else that would continue to strengthen our relationship?
What would that be?
Where would that lead you?
