#385 Thurs. May 21/15, 11:30am, at home (my un-forgiveness = True hurt for me)
Come near My People and listen to My Voice.
I want to proclaim to you the Greatness of My Love.
My Forgiveness matches My Love so don’t offer your forgiveness unless you also offer My Love.
Do you understand that I want to be first and foremost in a person’s life not because I need the admiration but because they need Me to truly survive and grow and love and forgive?
So do not presume that when you say “I forgive you” that this is all the other needs to hear.
You are human and very limited in the amount and degree of forgiveness you can offer.
I am not. So let them know it is not your forgiveness they need to hear but the awesome Forgiveness of the Lord.
Our souls will not be secure until they are secure in Me.
So your offering of forgiveness is a kindness I offer to you to extend, but do not let that be the ultimate that the person hears.
They might not like to hear or be ready to hear that I Forgive them, but let them know it anyway.
“I forgive you, but more importantly, God has Forgiven you.”
You must raise your gift of forgiveness to the Higher Power who is the origin of ALL Forgiveness.
It is not your soul power alone to extend forgiveness. It belongs to the Lord.
Now you can’t say “The Lord Forgives you, but I can’t.” NO, NO, NO.
What kind of gift is that? How can you say that I, the Lord, Forgives when you are not willing to follow My Example?
You are either one of My Followers or you are not. It is as simple as that.
If you are not willing to walk in My Forgiveness Footsteps, then you are not a follower of Mine.
I want all of you very clear on that.
In one instance you cannot say “I am a follower of Jesus,” then in the next instance not be continually offering Forgiveness. They do not abide together.
Have you forgiven those whom you perceive have done wrong to you?
You don’t even have to tell them, but you must tell Me most sincerely that you forgive the person who has slighted you.
I want you so tied to Forgiveness that it becomes second nature to you. That once you feel offended you rush into My Most Sacred Heart and Forgive the person.
The really interesting thing is that you should not wander into un-forgiveness in the first place.
Do you see how the evil one attracts us to feel sorry for ourselves and easily offers un-forgiveness as his balm to your hurting self.
When we are bitter we are unforgiving. Did you know that?
When you are angry, are you forgiving or unforgiving?
Do you see the damage it does to your soul?
Have you told your soul that it needs to live in forgiveness to be whole and happy?
And it can live in forgiveness when your soul turns its back on feeling sorry for itself.
Living in Forgiveness does not mean you are always offering forgiveness for this or that slight. It means you never take on un-forgiveness as a companion.
The least hint of un-forgiveness, you rush into My Most Sacred Heart and abide gently there where Forgiveness is Full and Complete.
Living in Forgiveness is a state of your soul. It does not look for or detect slights!
Interesting eh?
It is like wearing sunscreen all the time. The sun’s rays bounce off of you and do little harm to your body.
So lather on Forgiveness which protects you from absorbing slights or hurts or anger, thus letting you live in constant Forgiveness.
Now it is not as easy as putting on sunscreen because often we miss spots on our body here and there where the bad rays can get through.
Seek to live in Forgiveness. Seek it constantly. Do not let any barbs or arrows break through this fortification of Forgiveness.
Do not let your mind or body lead you into un-forgiveness. Let your soul lead them to Forgiveness always.
People cannot disturb your soul’s Forgiveness unless you allow your human nature to dominate your spiritual nature.
Now I do not tell you this is easy to pursue and maintain. But I do tell you that it is worth all your effort to endeavor to pursue and maintain Forgiveness.
Can you imagine the even keel of your body and soul if you made this effort. Make it part of a delightful adventure.
You want to delight your body and soul to this daily experience.
How much better our body and soul are when we live in the Forgiveness mode.
Besides living in it, open your heart to receive more and more of it from Me.
Each circumstance that arises tell Me you want more and more of My Forgiveness – to strengthen your soul from attack and also to free your soul to realize how much I have Forgiven you.
Remember, always remember, My Forgiveness holds all the Power and Glory of Heaven. Seek it often and with great joy.
(The Lord revealed to me the following at church later this same day, May 21/15, 4pm)
--- that it is not the hurt that the other has inflicted on me by what they have said or done
The real hurt in my heart is caused by my un-forgiveness of that person!
So when I say that so and so has hurt me, it is not true!
It is my un-forgiveness of this hurt (real or perceived) that causes the true hurt!
My un-forgiveness gives life to hurt feelings and feeds them and allows them to fester and grow and accumulate and steer me in the ways God does not want me to go.
Thank You God, Praise You God, for revealing this to us.
