The time fast approaches when I will call many to Me.
I am calling you to Me right now.
Are you prepared to walk with Me, are you prepared to forgo all else for My Sake.
This is not a doomsday call, but a call to come follow Me right now.
We think sometimes that ‘not right now Lord’, ‘not yet, Lord.’
But do we know what we are giving up not to follow Me?
Our sense of being must be very secure in the world for us not to want to run after Christ with all our might and strength.
What do I see that the world offers that God cannot?
Do I tend to continue to stumble around looking for the magic moment, the THING that will make all of life worthwhile?
Why do I not turn to the One who has made ALL Life?
What do I fear? What do I not want to find out for my own good?
Perhaps I feel I am good right now and do not need the Greater Good to see me through this day.
Perhaps I think I can make my own good and I will be satisfied with that.
Are you willing this very day to dare to say to Me… “Lord, I want to walk with You this day.”
It is a very simple prayer to start with.
“Lord, I want to walk with You this day.”
You do not have to seek Me. That burden is lifted from you by this small simple prayer.
If you give Me permission, you will know that I am walking with you this day because you have asked Me to.
No questions like “Where are You?” “How do I get to know You better?”
Nothing that seems like it could be so frustrating that you will give up on Me.
Because this short prayer “Lord, I want to walk with You this day” opens the door to your heart so easily and then I can slip in and walk with you.
And no need to promise Me to do this every day.
Just each day say that short prayer and let your day unfold as I ‘will’ want it to.
