Dear Father in Heaven.
How do You want me to address you?
Well start with that, “Dear Father in Heaven….”
Do you see the difference?
In one, you say Our Father and the other you say Dear Father.
Which, to you, seems like there is a close relationship?
That is how I want to be with you -- lovingly close. dearly close.
I am not shunning the Our Father, but I want you to know that I am not offended by Dear Father when you are saying personal prayers to Me.
Sometimes we exclaim “dear Father in Heaven” when something surprises or shocks us.
But the Dear Father in Heaven that I am talking about is said with tenderness, love and devotion.
So do not shy away from using it because it sets your soul in a deeper attitude of communication with Me.
It indicates the depth that you wish to acquire in our relationship.
