(a His Will Prayer)
Come, pour Your Graces over me dear Lord.
I do not even know what I need for today but thankfully You do. So, pour forth Your Graces.
You see, I do not abandon you, and I so want you to know that.
I want you at peace in the kingdom where you are now.
Do not think that I am not caring for you now, tomorrow and forever.
Things arise in our lives and we seem to lose hope in My Promises.
I have never promised that things won’t happen.
I have promised you Peace and I give it to you daily.
So, what has made you unpeaceful this day.
Give it to Me.
Now will you ask Me to fix it, or will you Trust deeply that I will care for it?
There is the big difference.
In the one instant, you give it to Me to make all better as you see better.
In the other, you give it to Me to be Loved and cared for according to My Will.
There is a huge difference isn’t there. Yes indeed.
So, gather all that you feel needs fixing and give it to Me not to be fixed as you see fixed but to be Cared for as only I can do.
It is a huge leap of faith.
But, when you give it to Me this way you can never say your prayers weren’t answered!
If you give it to Me with your plans, then you will no doubt say He didn’t answer my prayers. And that is the Truth. YIKES, eh!
Your prayers and intentions do not, cannot, control Me and the good I see for the World.
Your prayers have to express to Me your great Trust that I will do as only I see fit.
So, when your prayers do not get answered according to your plans, most certainly it looks like I did not answer because our wills were not the same.
Yet, when your prayers seem to be answered you cannot take any credit because our wills were one.
It was not your prayers that fixed the situation, but rather My Actions and Love that made it so.
You see, when we get our prayers answered according to our plans, we may tend to take a bit of credit, eh?
But, do make sure you thank God first and foremost, not for answering your prayers, but for hearing your prayers and fixing things as He sees them to be.
It is like the 10 lepers who wanted to be made clean and lo and behold they must have thought that their prayers and actions cured them.
Whereas the one who returned knew whom to thank because he knew his prayers and intents did not have the power to fix the situation.
So, ask for the Grace this day and every day to see God’s Power in all things and the Grace to see that your prayers do not have the power to fix things.
The power your prayers have is that, said correctly and with good intent, bring you closer to God and give you a better insight into the fact that you will thank God no matter what your initial prayer intentions were.
You pray to give Him, first and foremost, honor and glory!
You pray letting Him know what you would like to have happen.
You pray telling Him that first and foremost it is His Will that you want and then, yes, then, all your prayers will be answered!!!
