Let Me assure you of My love.
Do not become restless as to what to do next. Just sit in My Love.
Notice how you close your eyes. That is so the ‘things’ out
there do not distract you.
When you close your eyes it gives you a better glimpse of
you and who you are -- you are not the
phone, tv, computer, floor, your shoes.
Closing your eyes helps you to go into your heart and look
around.
Sit for a few minutes with your eyes closed and tell Me what
you ‘see’.
Is you heart tired?
Not in the physical sense, but in the spiritual sense.
What is it tired of?
Making excuses?, Thinking impure thoughts?, Bragging?, Living fearfully,
Lying?, Being deceitful?, Controlling?, Conjuring?, Avoiding Me?, Making
excuses?, being stubborn?
These things – even one of them would tire a heart that was
created for love.
So with any, some, all of these things stored in your heart,
love cannot live there.
You think you are loving eh?
Think again. I want
you to beg Me to grace you with divine love. Beg Me please.
Your heart needs to be free of these illnesses, otherwise
you can’t serve Me with all your heart and soul.
Ask Me to point out to you where you should start. Or perhaps you think you have already started
and just have a few more items to take care of.
Well ask Me either way.
Just ask Me.
I have pointed out to you stubbornness – and of course you
feel you are not stubborn – but remember you asked and I answered.
So maybe you should not have asked?? ha, ha, ha
But in all sincerity, you did ask and I answered.
Now ask Me to show you where you continue to be stubborn.
You are still stubborn in trying to control things –
anything.
Let go of trying to control everything. That is not an easy task.
But ask Me to show you what to let go of. You sincerely want to be closer to Me so
sincerely ask and be grateful for My answer.
Remember, I know your heart and I know when it is sincere or not.
Are you controlling the love you mete out to others? Be very truthful. Yes you are.
Tell Me their names.
Myself Lord. You just
revealed that to Me and I thank you so much.
To members of my family – you just pointed out to me Lord
that if I make comments, if I joke about them – I am diminishing my love for
them.
You have just shown me that there are gentle jokes and there
are hard jokes. Some jokes may not hurt,
yet others will.
Usually the ones that run down the person are most hurtful.
Like “wasn’t that a stupid thing he did…” does your comment build up the person or tear
them down?
I am not condemning jokes and laughter. I am pointing out that maybe you are laughing
at someone else’s expense.
“Am I willing to point out and laugh at the silly things I
do?” Ask yourself that question.
Better still, reflect on times when someone made a comment
about you that for some may have been laughable but you know how you felt hurt,
even slightly, or corrected or admonished by the joke. Or perhaps even harsher, made to look like a
fool in your eyes.
Perhaps your stubbornness Margo sits in not being willing to
let Me use your tongue to proclaim good jokes, good laughter. I am not saying you tell dirty jokes because
you don’t – that is another topic altogether.
But I am saying will you give up trying to be funny and let
Me be funny through you?
Now that is a whole new concept. The Lord, Me, telling jokes, evoking laughter
yet not hurting anyone’s heart.
Wouldn’t the world be better for it!
You are finding it hard (stubborn!) to grasp giving up your
quick quips. But I am asking you to
endeavor to do this – for your good, the good of others and My glory.
I bet you had not planned to give up talking this lent did
you? Ha, ha, ha
You won’t give up talking, but you will give up trying to be
funny – for your sake and glory, and ask Me to be funny in and through you.
Now sit still and thank Me for this revelation.
The mantra to keep in mind so you can try to do this request
about your stubborn tongue is ‘keep me tongue tied Lord’. Only you and I will know what this really
indicates.
Thanks for coming aside.
Spread the Good News of My love near and far.
I love you, you are Mine, you are My beloved.
PS Please don’t take
on this ‘tongue tied’ task as a penance, or something sacrificial. Take it on with JOY, with expression, with
the knowledge that I lovingly showed it to you for your good and My glory. And you will be very surprised by how,
through you, I will make people laugh in delight not derision or mocking. Off you go.
