#364
Thurs. Mar. 19/15, 11:30pm --- at home
Gather around My People. Sit, stand, kneel, whatever, but I just want
you to hear my Words of Love for you.
Have you told anyone today that you Love
them? How did they react?
If you tell someone that I, God, Loves
them, how do you think they would react?
We enjoy hearing that others love us cause
that makes us feel important, cared for, respected.
However, we can’t quite grasp that God
Loves me.
We think that He wants something in return
--- something that we can’t live up to.
And we do not hear Him say it to us like we
hear other human beings, so it doesn’t seem as real.
But if you read “Jesus Loves me” do you
then believe it? Or do you figure you
haven’t done as well in the World as perhaps you could or should have so why
would God Love me.
Isn’t it funny if God said He hates us we
would be on the defensive telling Him that we really aren’t that bad and then
perhaps trying to do things to get in His Good Graces, so He will Love me.
Yet when He tells us I Love you, we think
perhaps He is lying, or joking, or not serious.
Because our defense then is, if You Love me
then why should I suffer, feel unhappy, discouraged, etc.
Because we have not taken the Truth of what
He says to me to my heart and give it a place to live in and grow.
We want to argue with God instead of
welcoming Him.
So when you read these Words of Mine “Jesus
Loves me”, welcome them into your heart.
Don’t look for a detailed explanation of
why or get busy and set up arguments why He should not Love you --- just
welcome Him into your heart, a place that will take these nurturing Words and
make you more whole.
Remember, even if you are feeling down and
out, say to yourself “Jesus Loves me”
and let Him bring His Love into your heart.
Come Lord, come bring Your Love for me into
my heart. Help me Lord to welcome Your
Love and give it a gentle place to abide.
Because, once you know Jesus’ Love is
abiding in your heart, you will endeavor to avoid doing anything to disturb His
Love that has found a safe haven in your heart.
So just don’t say it in your head or with
your lips, welcome it into your heart.
Thank you for welcoming My Love into your
heart this moment. It will serve you
very well.
