Leave it with Me

(Leave it with Me)

Hush, Be still as the night.  Even though dawn starts to break, do not get into the fast pace of thought or action.  Come aside and BE ONE with Me.  Leave all with Me.  Even making your bed.  I will bring you to it as I see right.

Even this decision leave with Me.

Ask Me for the Grace to “Leave it with Me”.  There is so much sacrifice, not suffering sacrifice, but sacrifice just the same.  You want to “leave it with Me” to give Me more of a chance to be in your day today than yesterday.

It is surrender.  It is giving All your thoughts, words and deeds to Me.  When we were younger we offered our thoughts, words and deeds to the Lord in our morning offering.

Now, continue to take it up a notch.  We do not know our thoughts, words and deeds that will be part of our day.   Yet, we willingly and with more wisdom and understanding of what that prayer really means, we willingly surrender them to You dear Lord, believing firmly that they will have a greater purpose coming from You than being offered by me. 

It is a bit of a twist, but I do not ask you to try to figure out what I mean by this.  Because to you, if you offer them to Me isn’t it the same as surrendering them to Me.

The offering comes from you with you in control of offering the offering.

The surrender comes from you with a total giving of yourself to Me to be operated by Me.

It just dawned on you that in the morning offering, that it is not our morning is it?  It is My Morning that I offer to you.  I offer you the opportunity to return this day to Me having made it a better day by serving Me totally.

And it is not just any day.  It is this day.  This new holy day over which you had no control in the making; over which you do not know how it will progress or end. 

So, thank Me for this new holy day in which you have another opportunity to surrender the ALL of you to the ALL of Me.

What a gracious gift I give you today!  Another opportunity to serve Me so, so willingly not from what you have to offer Me but what I have to offer you. 

Does this not strike you as different?

Well, it is.

You awake in thanksgiving to Me for this new holy day.  Your first words are in recognition to Me that you have no creative power over this new holy day. 

What an offering!  It has nothing to do with what you will offer Me, but right away a thanksgiving for what I have offered you.

We remain small in our own attempts at a morning offering.  Yet, we can so enlarge this, make it more splendid and complete when the first words we utter are “thanks for this new holy day.”

By this prayer we have placed ourselves in a new, more meaningful relationship with God.  By these words we acknowledge the Creator and are willing to own none of this day for ourselves, to ourselves.  We leave this new, holy day open to all, welcoming all to be part of this new holy day.

I have always accepted each and everyone’s morning offering.  But having read these Words of Mine, I offer you the opportunity to take this prayer up a notch. Rather than offering Me this day, rather acknowledge the Author of this new holy day and tell Me you are willing to surrender it all to Me.  You want no control over this new holy day.

You only need ask for the Graces to “lead me through this day.”  What an offering, eh?

It is not about what you will think, do or say this day.  But rather what I will guide you to think, do and say this day that will better fulfill the fullness of My Kingdom here on earth.

What surrender!  Yet, what freedom and Joy!  Put away your planner and let Me BE your daily planner.

That means that instead of checking your planner, you will check in with the Real Planner and ask Him what you are to do next which, if you reference Him this way it will ALL be in service to Him and none of it in service to your plans, your agenda.

And you will quickly note that you are spending more time with Me because I am your agenda planner.

Go in peace.  Never, never I say, regret saying any prayer that glorifies and honors Me.  That is a foolish waste of time.

Yet still never hesitate to move into a new prayer life with Me as your Director.

I Love you so, so dearly.  You are Mine, I am yours.
